 Krueger Hall

For generations, the Kuempel Haus has been a place where people come together. In its early years, Grover and Selma Kuempel hosted lively barbecues in the back pasture, welcoming friends, neighbors, state legislators, county attorneys, and judges. Over the years, the home’s timeless charm has also attracted movie location scouts looking for the perfect historic setting.

To continue that tradition of hospitality and create new opportunities to share the property with others, Debby expanded the estate with the addition of Krueger Hall. Inspired by her grandfather’s architectural style, she designed and commissioned the 1,200-square-foot venue to blend seamlessly with the historic home. The space includes a 900-square-foot gathering hall and a 300-square-foot multipurpose area, thoughtfully designed for both comfort and versatility.

Together with the Winnie Mae Gazebo and surrounding outdoor patios, the property offers a warm and inviting setting for celebrations, family reunions, retreats, conferences, boutique weddings, and special events of all kinds.

Today, Krueger Hall stands beside the historic Kuempel Haus as a natural extension of the home's legacy. The same attention to detail, craftsmanship, and architectural character that define the original home are reflected throughout the property.

Now, the beloved “house on the hill,” as locals affectionately call it, is open for guests to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. With flexible packages and a dedicated team ready to bring each vision to life, the Kuempel Haus and Krueger Hall offer a one-of-a-kind setting where history, hospitality, and community come together.
